

Form Five & Six
The First year of the second cycle, two year programme of Advanced Level (A-Level) secondary education.
At this level are expected to demonstrate mastery of the learned skills at various cognitive levels in a broad range of activities: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
The objectives of Secondary Education, Form V are to enable the student to:
strengthen, broaden and develop a deeper understanding of the knowledge, skills and attitudes developed at the lower level of Secondary Education;
safeguard customs and traditions, national unity, national virtues, democracy, respect for human and civil rights, duties and responsibilities associated with such rights;
develop self-confidence and the ability to learn in various fields, including science and technology as well as theoretical and technical knowledge;
improve the use of language in academic communication;
strengthen accountability for cross-cutting issues, including health, security, gender equality and sustainable environmental conservation;
develop competence and various skills which will enable the student to employ himself or herself, to be employed and to manage his or her life by exploiting his or her environment well; and
develop readiness to continue to college education.
